 Subject: 68 mm TB porting

I just removed my TB from my 2004 dak 4.7 and did a micro. The TB measures 68mm in back and 66mm on the inlet. You guys really think grinding down 1 mm thickness around of metal would benifit me or should I just clean it up and polish?

That 66mm actually tapers to 65mm just above the throttle plate. Fully modified, you can increase flow by about 15%. Bored oversize, new throttle plate and modified shaft would get about 20%. If you upgrade to a modified 68mm tb, you can increase flow by about 25%
