I am not too sure on that, 2WD? I don't think they put them in 4WDs, Manual, or Auto?, what Gears? 3.21s? Reg Cab?

my Dak is around the mid to low 15s, but of course I have a 4.7L in mine.

if i would guess, I would say that a stock 2.5 is probably in the 18s - 20s in the 1/4 time, maybe slower, it all depends on the driver.

2001 Dak CC 4x4, 5-Speed, 3.55 Gears

HO Cams, Headers, Flowmaster 40, KN FIPK, F/B 70mm TB.

maybe, never driven a 4 cylinder Dakota before,

I wish I had one, good gas mileage.

I get 15 miles to the gallon on a good day with my truck,

believe it or not they dont get that good gas milage. or at least mine doesnt. i get about 17 in the city(if itake it really easy) and about 19 on the highway. and it sucks. I was just wondering because i want to run it but i dont want to embarrass myself and run a 25 or something haha. 18-20 is embarrasing enough as it is lol thanks marv

I highly doubt that it is a 29.95, lol though

I think a VW bug gets the quarter around that number though.

it would seem highly logical that the 2.5L gets probably in the 18s - 20s range.

my truck, gas wise with the 4.7L gets about 14 - 15 in the city, and about 18 - 20 on the interstate, unless I hammer around town.

like I said, even though my truck is modded, if I wanted to be in the high 14s, I'd have to get 3.92s, or 4.10s, and that is a 4x4 truck, that weighs 4,000 some pounds. I am probably in the 15s now, and it is kinda difficult to improve time drastically, it all depends on the driver

if someone inexperienced got in my truck and ran the 1/4, they'd probably run 16, or a 15.7,

but me, since i can work the clutch right, I can run a 15.2 or 15.4.

all i needs is a racing clutch, supercharger, ASP pulley, HO manifold, Super Chips Tuner, and 4.10s, and I will be in the 13s.

lots of money, I'd rather get a 06 Hemi Charger SRT-8

Wow those jeep 2.5s suck I have a '94 with a the old chrysler 2.5 and I get 27.5 on the highway and 25 city. Though the gen III are a bit heavier. Don't know what the 1/4 mile time is though but it is much faster than 29.95.
