I have a 1994 Dakota Sport with the 8.25" rear. I am planning to install a Detroit Truetrac or Auburn LSD. The Truetrac is for a 1997 and later 8.25". Is there any way to update the 1994 axle to post 1997 spec in order to use the Truetrac?
I'll use the Auburn if I have to, but I would prefer to install the Truetrac.

you can use the truetrac in your truck, they didnt change the rearends until 99. i did the same thing to my 94 dakota sport.
