Message: I got the airaid intake a while back before it came with the extra intake tube. When i first got it i noticed a little gain in MPG and slightly better throttle response. I recently got the rest of the system i.e. the intake tube and now noticed a MUCH larger difference. My MPG went up a lot more than with simply the tube. My question is, if the tube allows more air into the engine, wouldnt that make the computer add more fuel to the mixture to keep things even? If that is true, then the MPG would go down not up. So, is it because the engine is producing more power, thus not needing as much fuel to move as it used to? I am just wondering how it is all working, THANKS
