Subject: Pipe Sounds IP: Logged
Message: In relation to my last post, I assume the more pipes the better the sounds. Or is it that much more of a difference. It won't affect the look, since the pipes will dump behind the roll pan. thanks for the advice guys!

Message: not so much as the pipes and muffler as it is the tips you have,
I am not sure on the tips I have, but they are fairly big round, and I did have them coming straight out the back of my Dak, but I had them slanted because when the load was too much, the tips would scrape easier, and in the mountains, it doesn't scape anymore, cause my tips are slanted.
anyhow, I did notice a slight change of tone, when I had them slanted,
but of course my Headers changed the Tone of my exaust too.
but to answer your question
I have a friend with a Ram 1500, and his pipes and tips are smaller than mine, and his truck sounds a little more high pitched than mine.
since I have the bigger tips, it is a lower, deeper rumbling growl.
I hope I helped., sorry if I didn't

Message: You'd think that the more pipes you have the quieter it will be, and the less pipes you have it would be louder, and the shorter the pipe it would be louder.
I guess
