Message: What is the best way to get some weight transfer at the track??? I've seen some Dak's on this site that really "hunch" down when launching. Just wonder how it is there getting that done. I don't see mine doing that on any of my video's at the track. Is it just a matter of shock's??? I'm running nittro drop shock's currently.

Message: open the pass. door, help your fat chick up in the bed of the truck and tell her to hold on, that my friend is the best weight transfer you can obtain. Its works for me, maybe thats why i love fat chicks. improved my 17.9 spinning/smoking wheel time to 14.99 with a 5.2. auto.no mods, only big bods.....

Message: Pulling the front swaybar can help the truck squat more coming off the line, and also saves 20+lbs. You could also buy adjustable shocks and set them soft in the front.

Message: Find some 10/90 shocks for the front. Adjustable shocks for rear set "soft." Lower the rear so that sits at least level. Remove sway bars. Add traction bars, you'll need it with the additional weight transfer and traction. If that ain't enough, add some drag radials on light weight wheels. Light weight wheels and skinny tires in front are another plus. Now if you have enough power you may shave off a whole second with that setup.

Message: Thanks for the help. I run my truck as an everyday driver and only race for fun so removing the sway bars is out of the question for me. The adjustable shocks all round and traction bars sound like the way for me to go. I guess if i really wanted i could pop the sway bars off at the track. ANy suggestions on which shocks and traction bars to use?

Message: HAL QA1's seem to be the best adjustable shocks out there. But, they're over $100 a piece.
