Message: On 1992 and up, the Magnum engines use the same pan design, all else being equal (front sump, rear sump,...that sort of thing. The difference is made up with the engine-specific seal. So, as long as there's no oil pickup clearance issue (shouldn't be), you may retain the 318 Magnum pan, and just use the 360 Magnum seal. On pre-Magnums, you must use the engine specific oil pan.
