Message: My '94 Dakota SB RC with a 2.5 and a 5 speed weighs around 3200 lbs with me a full tank of gas and a steel tauno cover. Feather like compared to to some of you guys. But I still think its to heavy.

Message: Roll pan? NO thanks, I'd have to make a cut out for the hitch receiver.
If I wanted to go real light, I'd get a honda S2000. Those are about 2000#'s.

Message: Weighed the 2000 quad cab 4.7 auto today with me in it 4775 lbs. Not as bad as i would have thought. Not sure how accurate but within 10 lbs for sure. I have the rear bumper and isolator removed in favour of a roll pan. about a half tank o gas. fibreglass tonneu cover as well. myself 185ish,
