does the tps mod affect shift points?
if so how do i do it.
i have been searching and searching, someone please post a link if you know one.
my truck shifts way to early and holding the gears is not working out well cause if you select drive instead of overdrive it locks the converter immediately and rpms are again too too low. please help.

I don't believe the TPS mod has any affect on shift points. I did it on mine and it didn't affect the shifting. It did make it more responsive though. What trans do you have? The 42 and 46 series can be adjusted by adjusting the throttle valve or "kickdown" as some people mis-appropriately call it. If it is a 45 series the only way to modift shift points is through computer modification. i.e. Superchips, Jet chip, or custom modded computer. I put a Jet chip in mine and it raised the shift points but I have to say it did very very little for power increase. If your gonna mod the computer the Superchips is far superior.
