Looks like with a little help from the Army, I will soon have enough money to buy gears, and a Underdrive Pully Kit for my Dak, I hope this helps alot. can't wait........ I am enrolling in the ROTC at my local University, in the Army Reserves, so they will pay me for service, and for college,...... no other country better to serve than the United States of America.

yeah and when you get all your mods put in your dak. thats when the army calls you in and says wanna play in a big sand box and next thing you know your in iraq.
glad you feel great about serving your country. should of joined active duty then take the gi bill and yo uget even more money. its only 4 years of your life thats all;-). i was in the air force for 6 years. gotta say some of the best fun I had beside the pay sucking crap lol.

there is nothing wrong with serving your country, and as for a uniform, since I am transfering from a community college for 2 years, all I have to do is complete the Junior and Senior years of ROTC and I get my commission as a second Lt. so wearing a Uniform does not bother me,.. plus I am going AIRBORNE. .. (Hell of a Unit to be a part of)
I don't mind if I have to go to Iraq, if I do, I do..Just doing my duty.. but they are pulling soldiers off the lines in Sept, alot of them at least.
plus while in ROTC, I will be non-deployable, and wont see active duty till I graduate College, and have a commission.
you have your opinions and dreams, and I have mine...

Joining the Marines here, going for the Sniper program... enlisting in the next year, I just have to get a few tattoos lasered out! the montgomery G.i. bill is a pretty decent additive to enlistment, but my main reason is I WANT to play in a big sand box... nothing like firepower to overrun my lust for horsepower! and think of my fuel expense reduction, and less miles ran up on my odometer while I'm gone! Hell yeah I'll park my R/T to go blow stuff up!

Just curious, are you good enough with a rifle to be a sniper?
you have to qualify as Expert Marksman first.
if you like the whole "sniper" bit, check out a biography on Carlos Hathcock, one of the most skilled snipers of all time, read his story, it is interesting.
P.S. I have a friend in Iraq right now, in the Marines, he is a Lance Corporal, and he says that on his spare time he shoots those Feral "Wild" Dogs over there, just like the Coyotes in America.
He was made for the Marine Corps. as for me, I was made for the Airborne in the US Army, my Grandfather wishes I was going into the Marines, just like he did, but, you know, well, I have made my decision.
I hope I make expert marksman, I do alot of Hunting in VA, and I shoot alot on my spare time, with Bolt actions, Semi-Autos, Pistols, Shotguns, you name it I have shot it. NRA forever, Peace.
