 Subject: 04' 4.7 upgrades? and difs from 03?

I was looking at making some upgrades to my 04 dak.
Was thinking of exhaust, intake and maybe a chip upgrade. Was looking at the borla cat back exhaust and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this unit. As for intake The K&N unit is pricy as hell but supposed to be pretty decent. Is there anything out there that would be comprable but maybe a little cheaper? And finally the chip.... Is it even worth it? Which one ? I have defintly noticed its harder to get 04 parts vs older models . Speaking of which what did dodge change on the engine between 03 and 04 that gives it its HP boost?

What is the IAT sensor that 360 is talking about, and where would I find it? I have an 04 4.7L.

The IAT sensor is an Intake air sensor that adjusts fuel load and timing to a small degree, based on the incoming air, and alot of other inputs from the system. The idea, is to alter it's signal somewhat, and make the PCM think it's getting colder air, and this richer up and advancing timing some.
Now the manual adjuster is what you want I think. I've got one on my truck, and it's nearly always switched off. I even tried a dyno run, and b/c I have other mods, it didn't help much. People have dynoed them with a stock engine, and had gains.
I'll pack up the one on my truck, (tha IAT adjuster from speedtweaks), and ship it for $25. And yes it's the 4.7.
