Subject: 360 cam in a 318??? IP: Logged
Message: Just out of curiousity, I'm looking at a cam from a stock '98 360 magnum, and I'm wondering if it's an identical cam to the one in my '97 318 or if it would make any kind of performance upgrade?

Message: It will actually reduce your performance. The 318 cam has .432" gross valve lift. The 360 cam has only .410". The duration figures are close, so you'd actually lose upper rpm power with that swap. They will interchange, however.
