Message: It's an 5 speed auto if that maters??And any Idea how much I would weigh??
I'm just curious how to get a little bit of a power/pep boost without interfearing with the warnity.??It already runs pretty well though I just want more. My girlfriend has got a 04 trailblazer and I think she'll take me I'm not sure but that thing is pretty peppy. I've got no other mods>
thx?

Message: I have 3.55s on my Dak, I thought of getting 3.92s or 4.10s, because I am thinking of getting a lift, and I got 32 inch tires. If you had a 2wd Dak, it would be easier to change to 3.92s. but in yours and my case you have to change both front and rear.
Powerwise, you will get better quarter time, and gain some acceleration, better towing capabilites, but from what I hear, your top speed would be around 100, and around 120 with the 3.55s.
price wise, well, not cheap, don't have a specific price. looking on that.

3.55 rear (Hoping to Get 3.92s or 4.10s)
32 Inch Wideclimbers (wants 33 inch swampers, and a 4 inch lift)

Message: if that trailblazer beats you, tell your girl, pulling is where the power is and hook your rear diff to hers. with a chain, and see who pulls who.
she might pull you if she has the V8 model, but that 6 cylinder doesn't want none.

Message: I hear, that if you take a 2500 HD, with a Cummins 5.9L HO, you can slap the banks power pack and a 6 gun tuner on it, and get 0 - 60 in 6 some seconds, now that is smoking for a truck that size.

Some chips you can just take out when it comes time to service right??Any other mods that won't interfeer with warnity??? I don't want to totally mod the truck just one or two whats the best bang for the buck hp wise??

Message: watch what kind of chip you get, alot of them do not help alot. I hear superchips are pretty nice, or you could get a mopar PCM.
I hear there is a place in Cal, that you ship your computer away, and they will fix it up for what kind of mods you got, i.e. get that deserved HP and TQ.

Message: Me too; that's a confusing one as mopar listed a part # for '00 4.7 - but never realeased the performance PCM. Are you referring to Leach flash in Cal ? That's what I got, very happy with it. Heard they can do it for '01 as well as '00 now. I think there's some others for the newer trucks, maybe B&G Chrysler and Kenne Bell ?
