Message: Looks really nice, Has there been a actual test truck ran at the track too see the difference from a "tuned" traction bar/leaf spring set up and the ladder bar kit? Or any actual ET improvements? I spent all last year tweaking at the preload in my Slide-O-Links and finally got the tires hooked up. I'd be very interested in seeing the improvements. My truck is much more consistent but I still only see the drivers front off the ground on 1 out of 5 runs.

Message: Hey Bill,
How streetable is this? The problem with Ladderbars on the street is that you've basically turned your rear axel into a whopping anti-sway bar. No body roll in relation to the axel. That means in cornering it's not uncommon to lift the outside rear tire which can lead to roll-over.
Ladderbars are generally the best answer on a drag strip, but a hazard on the street. Have you found a way to overcome this?

Message: Let me try to answer this.
This kit is purpose built for the track. The side use is that it can be driven on any street or hiway as it is fully adjustable. The ride height is fully adjustable, the spring rate dampning is fully adjustable from side to side. If street use is the only concern, then we offer a 4 link kit also, but once again, it's main purpose is the straightline performance of sub 1.5 sixty footers.
The springs for the coil overs are specific to the weight of the truck and drivers weight. If someone wants street use, autocross and straight line performance with 1.6 or slower sixty footers, then get the Hotchkis kit with Bilsteins and Caltracs. The truck that we are building is 3400lbs, runs a JW Performance 727 with a blown/intercooled YS Trim 408 running a FAST ECU. Not something I would care to go back and forth to work in personally. But will the truck be able to use public hiways without roll over? Of course! The motor alone in a stock suspension could kill anyone driving it from a roll on street tires.
Just to clarify, I wrote this reply with no anger or frustrations, as these are very great questions that need to be answered on the site for everyone. Take care!

Message: I've been talking about installing a ladder bar kit for a while. Now I can let someone else do it and find out there results. Then buy the kit with everything I need. Get that bad boy too hook and you've sold a kit already! I need that wheels up start on every run. LOL
