Subject: Squeaky Front End, Help!!! IP: Logged
Message: Just curious and a little concerned, when ever I go over speed bumps STRAIGHT,my front end squeaks as I come down off of it, but when i go over it at an angle or go over any other bumps relatively the same size it doesnt squeak????
Please help, tested all sorts of bumps and the only one is the speed bumps, and all done at same speed!!!!

Message: Most likely the sway bar bushings, they are famous for that. Remove them, clean with whatever, and apply a little synthetic grease. The grease MUST be synthetic, as the factory uses poly bushings. I used NAPA brand for a while, but it only lasts about 5-6 months and you have to do it again. Last spring I used Mobile 1 synthetic wheel bearing grease. They are still quiet.
