I'm considering purchasing an overhead console for my 04 Dak CC V-8 Sport Plus.
The console indicates exterior air temp, direction, trip mileage, gas mileage, etc.
Is this a shade tree install or do I need a qualified tech?

not somethin i would try sounds like too much
wiring. But if it comes complete with wiring
schmatics and all wiring harnesses then you
might be able to do it urself if u know what ur
doin

Its not a easy install ..... i did it on my 99 dakota ..... i had to go to the junk yard and find a donor truck for the wires ...... the wires went all the way down to a connector under the dash and you have to write down the pin locatons and pull the pins out of the donor truck with out bending or breaking them ....... plus i had to splice into power wires in the headliner .... was a pain in the ass
