Subject: Modding R/T installation costs??

Hey guys, I know I,ve had alot of posts lately about buying an r/t, modding etc. But hey you guys all had these same questions when you were getting into this, right? :)

ok to the point...
I want to find a 98 r/t (prolly all i can afford) RC and start in on the mods. I figured i would do the bolt ons first, then get into internal engine mods, suspension, etc.
about what would it cost to install a paxton on the 5.9 and a set of good headers(which ones?)
I plan on doing the some other stuff my self but im not sure im good enough to do the blower and i know i dont have the tools for either.

Any suggestions on this entire setup is greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance

the blower install is easy, if you buy a simple tool kit you should be able to install, wait on internal mods,
best mods i would recommend for the money no order
shift kit $100
cpu $200
cat back $200
thermostat $12
cold air intake $75
shocks $125
just my feedback

beware of suspension issues and brakes, stock parts are junk... I'd start with new upper ball joints, Energy suspension Control arm bushings, performance rotors and ceramic (Hawk, EBC) pads, cold air intake W IAT relocation, ignition upgrades( spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor) thermostat, remove Clutch Fan, auxilliary Tranny cooler (makes fluid stay cooler, improves life of fluid/tranny, and firms up shifts) transgo shift kit, and then do your internal engine stuff, cams, intake, headers, etc.

Most of the stuff (outside of a camshaft) you should be able to do with a set of decent wrenches and rachet/socket set, outside of the suspension stuff, which can be pretty tight... for those I'd recommend pneumatic tools, if you can afford em... if no, try to get a job at a mechanics shop.... free shop time when its slow! thats how I work things out for my truck.
