If you have a SC tuner for the 4.7, has anyone tried it on another vehicle? Going back to stock and trying a different Dak, RAm, Etc?

I have not tried it, but supposedly when you uninstall the program, the programmer unlocks itself for any other vehicle it is designed for.

My understanding is that once you put it back to stock, it "un-VIN locks" itself and can be installed on another vehicle.

I laid down some descent numbers w/o it. 218 + 8, is less than 4% gain. It IS still a gain. But if someone in the SE tx area wants it, I'll make sure it works, it is like new, still in box.
This one worked right right away, no send backs on this one.
Anyone?

maybe stupidchips has made a recent change, but their units do not vin unlock themselves
i had to send one back to them so it would work on another truck, they cleared the vin or whatever they did, otherwise it would not work on another truck (at least as far as reprogramming the computer was concerned)

can I use my 3715 tuner to read codes on other supported trucks? It dosen't say anything about it in the manual, and I wondered if anyone tried it yet...

Has anyone gotten "ERROR!! CHECK CONNECTION!!" message when trying to use the DTC read function?
I checked the connections and they were fine.
Reloaded the "PERF" program so I know the communication link was good!!!
Any ideas?

Who's around this area, and want's this puppy?
If it don't work, I'll be the first not want the sale! I can still use it, but I think it will work in any dak on the applications chart of the tuner, once it has been taken out of my Dak.
