Subject: MSD problem on 5.9 IP: Logged
Message: So I installed my new cap, rotor, Taylor 8mm wires and MSD 6A box the other day and everything was running fine until yesterday after work. The truck wouldn't start after work. I checked all of my connections between the stock coil wires and the MSD wires and everything seemed fine. I went ahead and took the connectors off and actually twisted the wires together so I knew they were connected. Still it wouldn't start. I un-hooked the MSD and connecte the wires back to stock and it worked. Everything else for the MSD (positive and negative connections) were solid. Any ideas?

Message: I had the same problem with my 3.9. First check the battery and connections. Then check the ground wires. Mine problem was the ground wire and the coil. I just sand the ground wire and the coil. It works now. Hope this works.
