Message: Probably so, but some on this board have posted instructions with pics, and others report that they had the work done by their local Dodge Service dept.
I think they had Jeep 4.7 HO cams done this way. I don't recall if any had aftermarket cams installed by Dodge.
Do some searching.

Message: I did this when my truck was still fairly new, and never regretted it. Expect most of the torque gains of the HO package. First time I replaced cams too; toughest part was R&R of valve covers. I believe the KRC cams you refer too are the stock HO cams; that # is for their least radical cams, right ?
Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Message: the cams im looking at are $249.00 at krc and they have a upgraded version with springs and lash caps for $699.00 which would prob. be best for me since i have a 2wheel drive but i think the just the cam replacement would do me justice when i get my headers and probably just modify my tb
