Message: My trucks speed sensor is going bad. It's been replaced once already. It's not completely gone yet, but it takes a while for it to shift. I got on it the other day and noticed it was pulling for a longer time span than it normally does. I looked down at the tach and it read around 5700 rpm. My rev limiter didn't kick in at all. It was spinning the whole time in second, could that be it? I don't think it's the Mopar PCM, but now I'm wondering if it's been flashed. It normally shifts at 5000rpm. Any input would be appreciated.

Message: Usually a sensor doesn't "start to go bad." It just goes. If you are revving a lot higher before your truck shifts, that could indicate a slipping tranny

Message: I'm pretty sure the tranny isn't slipping. It might be low on tranny fluid. Once I've been driving for about 5 minutes it starts shifting normal again, but it still doesn't explain the limiter not going off.
