have a 99 5.2 5 speed Dak with flowmaster 1-2, Sick50MM TB, FIPK, relocated IATand 180 T-stat. I replaced my stock injectors with the yellow top 19# D5B injectors per the recomendation of a lot of people on this site last spring, since then I got better idling and a little better fuel economy, but no better performance and a lot of pinging when hot. I spoke to Bruce at Five-0 and he said my stock injectors were 21# and that was the cause of my pinging. I purchased the type-III Bosch 22.5 units and installed them last Saturday.
PERFORMANCE IS INCREDIBLE, what a difference, way more responsive, tons more top end, and so far the same millage (17mpg).
I cannot say firm enough DO NOT USE 19# injectors, I don't know who started that trend(BERND?) but he is WRONG!!!!!

Part Number,Bosch 0280155890 Bosch 22.5 - New
Design III - LS1 $244.00, Call Bruce as the part under the Dakota listing shows $268.00.
I would not recommend installing the 19# injectors but you have them for $20.00 plus shipping to wherever you are from 03079 NH (under $8).
I know everyone on this site says there OK but they caused pinging in my truck.

Sammy, I am running a 103k mile 4.7L with original OEM injectors that have only seen gas-added fuel injector cleaners 4-5 times in their life. I figured replacing them with new/clean injectors might improve performance and mpg. My OEM injectors are 19# also and probably pretty dirty due to the cheap gas I have always run. I am a 91-93 octane guy now since I got my SuperChips tuner for donating my truck.

The 4.7 does not use #19lbs injectors either.

97 thru I believe 99 3.9L use the 19# injectors. I have a 97 and I run 19# injectors from Five-O
