 Subject: I need to upgrade injectors for my 5.2L

What is the largest fuel injectors that can be put in a 99 5.2L that does need a fuel pump upgrade and that the computer will run with.The dakota has been s/c and runs fine in the spring summer and fall but when winter gets here and the temp drops below freezing the cold air calls for more fuel and my stock injectors go static on me.I was told by a speed shop that I should install 42lb or higher if the truck will accept it but I think the highest I can go is 24lb.If some has actually install a 24lb or higher injector let me know the results and where I can get it.Any other info will also be helpful.

I think 24lb injectors should be all you need.I've got a 408 stroker w/ 8psi vortech s/c,52x55 1050cfm Tb,M-1,Magnum R/T 2.02 heads, Mopar pcm ,24lb Fms injectors........535hp@crank!......If you are interested all my stuff is for sale, motor only has 2500 mi on it, I,m a 35y.o. w/ 3 kids it wasn't built to race or anything, just to have! i could send you a e-mail w/pics of injectors on motor. 24lb Fms sell for $255, I would sell these which are like new for $150.Give me a e-mail.........Tim
