Subject: Headers?? IP: Logged
Message: Are there any equal length shorty headers out there, and if so any that have a merge collector (y-pipe) with a 3" outlet. Or will this have to be custom made?

Message: If it's an R/T, JBA makes some and I think their kit comes w/ a 3" Y-pipe.

Message: Headers part#1945S-1, Y-pipe part#2946Y. Email JBA about the Y-pipe. I looked over their site and cannot find it. It may have been discontinued. If it has I apologize for raising anyones hopes. SoCalDakota sells the PPH tri-y headers w/3" y-pipe for $510. That's very close to the JBAs and I think the PPH headers make more power.

Message: JBA doesn't make a Y pipe, only dual inlet down pipes for 98-99 Dakota RT. If you wanted it to work with a 2000+ you'd need to have the dual inlets merged to 1 collector.
The PPH headers are currently on back order, new production run for 2005 has started--- there's going to be a price change as well *unfortunately*--- price of steel has gone up dramtically-- so we all pay the price now (you'll see the price jump across the board, Hotchkis, Flowmaster, etc.. anything that uses steel).
