Message: Here is my problem. 99 390 stroker motor with mopar PCM
I have a mild cam in my truck which measure's 205 duration on both intake and exhaust @ .050 ( lift is .510 w/1.7 RR's, and it throws misfire codes on every cylinder within 45 mins of driving after I reset the PCM. I have adjusted the idle and set the TPS voltage, but no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
THX,
Dennis

Message: So when your saying its throwing a misfire code on every cylinder im assuming your meaning a po301,302,303 etc. Or are you getting a po300 random misfire?

Message: Id call mopar, that sounds like a flaw in there programing. Theres two things that normally cuase misfire and thats usually no fuel, and on certain vehicles no spark. You might could possibly take a screwdriver and place the blade tip against the fuel injector and hold the handle part to your ear and see if you hear a click or popping type sound, or you could also remove the fuel rail and see if there is any trash in the rail or injectors.

Message: You didn't replace a 3.9L with your 390 did you? Just asking because you can't use a V-6 drive plate on a V-8 with a computer controled engine. Thats the only thing I could think of that would scatter the firing order assuming you got the wires on right. Dan
