i just got 1.7 rr and i was wondering how much power do you think they give or if there is anyone who can give me an idea on how much hp i have. HERE IS WHAT I HAVE DONE TO MY RT

hey blkrt2001 What are your 1/4 mile times? Also, do you have a club or regualar cab. I have basically the same mods with a bg flash and the truck runs 15.0@95mph but, my 60' times are like 2.5 which suck. I'm alittle scared about putting the 1.7 RR's on they are in a box in my garage.

2003 r/t,
Your 1/4 mile times are slow. I have a 2003 Dakota R/T RC and I ran 14.1 in the quarter mile when my truck was bone stock. Sounds like you may have a problem with the computer flash.
I now run 13.3 in the 1/4 with a Kenne Bell supercharger, true dual exhaust, headers, and 1.7 roller rockers.

Hey 2003 R/T those times aren't bad considering your 60' time. Each tenth in your 60' is approx. 2 tenths in the quarter. Going with that time and your mph your truck should go low 14s with good traction.
as for dkota_rt, define stock buddy, because there's no way in hell a bone stock R/T will run a 14.1 If you added slicks, removed your sway bar, rear tire, and passenger seat, and tailgate you might come close to a 14.1 Did you mean 15.1?
