 Subject: Where can i get a XL turtle for m1intake

I have a m1 intake i have not installed yet. The thing is i want to use a extra large turtle for the intake but i don't know where to look to buy one. Hopefully some one can steer me in the right direction to get one. If you presently have a xl turtle i would like to hear what you think about the increases on the bottom end. Could you tell a big difference vs. no turtle Thank for any help

you don't want the xl turtle is kills to much top end power and does'nt help the low end.
the large(by Jeff Arnold) kills a little top end but increases mid range torque a bit..not a huge difference but enough to notice and is the one i liked most.
the small one, most people say can tell no difference.

Why do you wanna put a turtle in your engine. Won't that hurt it. The ASPCA is gonna get you for that one. Of course it kills power. Dropping in a turtle will block your intake and probable void yer warantee.

So you say the large turtle is better i have heard that in more than one place due to the top-end loss with the xl. I e-mailed jeff arnold and have not got a responce yet is he still making turtles? NOT THE LIVE KIND

nevermind the turtle I had one saw no difference It didn,t do anything for my times at the track If somebody tells you they felt a difference

basic lack of understanding on your part then..
a little more midrange torque at expense of top end is what it does. Does not equal faster 1/4 mile. I doubt you'd notice much difference the more air mods you have(exhaust/heads etc).
Not much of a difference to begin with.
