Message: I forgot what brand they are, but check out www.truckperformance.com. I know they have some other swaybars listed, but I think they are also smaller diameter (which I would assume makes them softer than Hotchkiss).

Message: I just looked at truckperformance.com. They sell the belltech sways for a decnet price but want 72 dollars to ship the two bars. I consider that to be a rip off. Does any other site offer sway bars and not try to overcharge for shipping. Just to let everyone know I have the Hotchkis kit on my truck just not the sways.

Message: Troy-- honest, 100% truth-- get the Hotchkis sways for your truck. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.
I have probably the lowest price you'll find on them-- Checkout my site, and let me know if this will work for you.

Message: Summit has Prothane sway bar bushings. Any aftermarket bushing is better than OEM! And, yes, OEM bushings do go bad.

Message: Tony, are you looking for both sway bars or just the rear bar? I put a BellTech 3/4" rear bar on my 00 CC 2-3 months ago and it made a world of difference. I recently totalled the truck and will be selling stuff that won't fit on my new 03. The 03 has an OEM rear bar and I'll sell the BellTech if I am happy with the OEM bar. Let me know if your interested and I'll get back with ya when I get the truck stripped later this week. I paid $140-145 for it a couple of months ago, how's $100+ shipping sound?

Message: I'm not looking for swaybars - maybe you mean Troy?
If their stiffer than a stock 99 CC 4X4, I'd be interested.

Message: Tony, Troy? The names were close, sorry for the confusion ;) As I tread down the post quickly I thought it seemed wierd that the same guy was answering his own questions. LOL
I don't know what the stock 4x4 rear bar is, but the 2x4's are 9/16",,, I think, that's what they have listed for the bushings. The BellTech is a 3/4" bar, but you don't have to increase the diameter of the bar much to get a lot more tosrional resistance. I looked all over the web and found a chart somewhere that compared the different bar diameters, going from a 9/16 to a 3/4 is a big jump, then going from a 3/4 to a 7/8 is another big jump. I went with the 3/4 bar since I didn't want to get oversteer by adding the rear bar. The 3/4 BellTech rear bar complimented the front bar nicely. If your going bigger than 3/4" in the back I would also replace the front as a matched pair.
I am only removing the rear bar as it was an add on to the truck. I'll post back when I have the bar ready to go.
