I just swapped motors on 99 ram 1500s one was a 318 and
the other was a 360 bolth ran perfect before the swap but now
run like crap, so are the pcms different? And need to be
switched to match the motor ? Also I'm getting no check
engine lights in eather truck

The programming is what's different. Swap PCMs and then
have the VINs flashed to match.

Would I have to have the pcms flashed or would they work
without doing that ?the vins just wouldn't match right?
