Subject: Throttle body for this setup? IP: Logged
Message: Hey i currently have a 98 5.2 CC 4x4 with a K&N GenII. Im about to be purchasing a M1 2bbl manifold and a F&B throttle body, but what im wondering is which size throttle body should i buy. Im pretty sure im gonna get the 50mm but i dont know because i might upgrade to ramair through using the shakers hood. I also plan on adding a MBRP cuda catback soon too. SO which size should i get 50mm? 52mm?

Message: 50mm would be the way to go.. note the 2bbl will take some of the bottom end off.

Message: Sam's right. Stick to the 50mm on that setup.

Message: Yep - 50mm would be what you need. The 318 really does not need anymore unless you are running a supercharger. Ram air/shaker hoods will not make enough of a difference to warrant moving to a 52mm.
