 Subject: 351 error code

I am getting a 0351 error code "Coil #1 is not reaching peak current at the right time". Since I just replaced my heads and cam could it be possible I did not get the distributor reinstalled in the exact position? Would this cause the code or do I perhaps have a coil going bad?
