Message: Drop the pan, clean it, change the filter. Flush the entire system... and do yourself the favor of doing it with the Amsoil synthetic fluid. You won't be doing it as often that way.

Message: It is very worth it. At 45k on the odometer, I was having some problems that were freaking me out about the tranny. It got real sluggish in the morning and had trouble shifting. I had the tranny flushed (not just drained) and replaced with synthetic ATF. I also had the filter replaced. Tranny runs like a champ now. I couldn't believe the immediate change.
