I have looked and looked through post after post and haven't found a for sure answer yet. Maybe I'm just not typing in the correct words to search, but does anyone know if there is a PCM flash for the 2001 4.7? I know there is for the 2000, but I'd like to know about the 2001 and if there is, who does it and how much did it help? I've found posts with this same question, but never an answer... please help me out.

Leach has had the ability for about 6 months now, but it's just never been advertised. I know a couple 01+ owners who have had thier comps flashed by Leach.

Thanks. I didn't ever see anything about that. Kowalski, do you know if it has the same gains as the 2000 flash or better? Also, how do I get information on it? I'm looking at doing this within the next few months and would like to get as much information on it as possible.

Sm P. www.socaldakota.com can get you info on the Leach flash. Basically, to get the best flash for your truck, you need to send in your list of mods, and a dyno graph with a/f readings is recomended as well. Also, this is best to do if you are pretty much done modding the truck, otherwise you might need to send it back after other mods. He can change speed limiter(basically remove it), rev limiter, shift points, e-fan turn on temps, fuel cruves, timing advance......

Dont forget the PCM must be the three prong style. Visit KRCPerformance.com or give them a call. They do alot of work on the 4.7L
