anyone tried or know anyone who has tried those cheaper intakes for sale on ebay? They go for less than $50. Anyone???

you mean those 2 piece metal types with a cone filter? first thing, you'll immediately want to replace the provided filter with a good quality, and larger, k&n filter. you'll probably then want to replace provided connectors with some better looking, better quality silicone connectors. you can get good prices for the filter and connectors on ebay. after that, you end up with a good performing, good looking intake that ends up costing around $80. it's what I ended up doing, and am very happy with the end result...

got mine on ebay.sounds bitchin works bichin.i still look .none are as quality as mine.seriously.got lucky!make sure its an aluminum z shaped single piece tube.hope it helps
