A bunch of us are going on a ski trip and I'm the only one that wants to take a Durango. I know that to rent one, it will cost us $15 more but I need some hard proof to show that the Durango is better to take instead of the Navigator.

Chevy and Ford guys are Blinded by good Advertising =[
Have you ever worked on a chevy? Or have you noticed when you take in a chevy it costs you twice as much to fix a problem with it compared to a dodge?
Chevy goes out of thier way so they can charge more for parts / labor / tools, I can prove this point easy, Change the plugs on a Dodge, then on a chevy, Change the starter, the tranny, i can ASSURE YOU that the Dodge will be 110% easier to work on. and they break down less =[
Keep in mind the PRICE when comparing automobiles, New chevy trucks are 6 to 14 grand higher than a New dodge truck.
I have never drivin a 1993 yr model + of any make, im just too smart to waste my money on a new car.
Anyway, I dont have a Durango (But they are neat!) i do have a 74 Dodge Ramcharger with a 440 in it, I have to say, that Blazers cant even compare to them.
And then i have my daily driver car: a 1980 Volare with a 318, which has 317259.3 miles on it right now =) Only problem with it has been a blown Head gasket, which was due to a DUMB IDIOT LIGHT THAT DIDNT LET ME KNOW UNTIL IT WAS COMPLETELY DRY =[
Oh yah, i took off the computer at 51 thousand miles

Let me put it to you simply....
Take the Navigator...Drive it like you stole it, turn it in sweating...
You would prolly get better gas mileage out of the Durango.
However, you will have more room in the Nav.
My wife has a 2002 Durango. We love it. It handles with ease, has plenty of giddeeup, and gets about 20mpg. They manuever a lot better than the huge tanks like the Nav, and tahoe/suburbans.
Take which one is cheaper....All you need is a ride....Right?

SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS BUT I BOUGHT A CHEAP AS$ $$2000.00 COMPUTER AND IT NEEDED A NEW KEYBOARD AS THE CAPS ARE STUCK LIKE THIS AND OFFICE MAX WOULD NOT GIVE ME A NEW ONE AND I WAS TO PISSED TO SPEND ANYMORE ON A DANGED COMPUTER...........
