Message: Well, I must say that all the time involved in the headers, Supercharger, exhaust, roller rockers, IAT, and everything else that I am flat out impressed at how fast this truck is. I can't wait to get it to a dyno to play with it.
Fully loaded 4x4 with spare, TON's of stuff in the CC, a passenger, and it is almost scary fast. I have no "real" numbers yet but lets put it this way, multiple 300z's, 4 5.0 Stangs, trucks (a 4.7 Dak!!, stock though so not very fair), ect and this thing has just walked away from both a stop and ESPECIALLY once I'm rolling (big ass tires take a bit to move).
I scared my wife a bit, we turned onto the highway, she had mentioned that the truck "sounded" a bit different (HaHaHa!!!), I punched it with O/D off and we were over 100 before we ever got to the merge point, thats damn near scary. She was in shock. Then asked what I had done, mentioned new "muffler bearings"!;-) and left it at that.
Now I want new gears and a locker. I've got 3.55's and want it off the line faster, thinking about 4.10's and a powertrax or an Auburn. $$$ It never ends, unlike the $$$ which goes fast.

Message: Shawn, have you made any 1/4 mile runs since you added the latest mods. I'm curious to see what kind of times you would be running. I have a 99 Sport CC 5.2 4x4 Auto 3.55 SG, Gibson Headers Ceramic Coated, JBA Y-pipe, Gibson Split Rear Exhaust, K&N Gen II w/Hughes 11000 Filter, Quick-D 50mm TB, FMS #19 Injectors, MP M-1 2Barrel Intake, Compcams 480/512 Cam, Compcams Double Roller Timing Set, MP R/T Lifters, MP 1.6 Roller Rockers, MP R/T Valve Springs & Retainers,MP/MSD 6AL Ignition, Crane PS-91 Coil, Accel Cap & Rotor, MSD 8.5 Wires, MP/Bosch Plugs, MP PCM, ASP Crank Pulley, 180 'Stat, Mobil 1 Oil & K&N Oil Filter. My best time was 15.39 before the cam, intake manifold, ASP pulley and injectors were installed, I'm hoping to be in the 14s' now. Post your time, I would like to see how much a difference a supercharger makes.

Message: CanDak the local performance parts store must be in love with you. You bought half their inventory.LOL 14's would be really really nice especially for a n/a truck like your CC 4X4. That's a lot of weight to send lumbering down the highway. You must give a lot of people raised eyebrows as you roar by. Good luck.

Message: Don't forget that when you change your muffler bearings that you must adjust the carburator brake, or TB brake on EFI models. If you don't, your timing will be off.

Message: Jeffster, you should have seen the look on the face of the guy with the new Silverado the other day when he tried to beat me to a lane reduction, it down shifted into 1st at about 25 mph breaking the rear tires loose and I was ahead of him in a flash. It sure plays with peoples minds when a 4x4 does this.
