Has anyone out there put a 5.7 in their Dakota yet?
I thought that John Fernandez of post Shelby Automobile fame had worked on the Dodge version of the Hemi Dakota for production but I believe they had trouble with the emissions.
Mine has over 120K and looking like it's going to become a street project vehicle. Looking for input.
Thanks

Message: Everyone has read on the internet that it won't fit. Many have asked why you would want to go to all the work when it's easier and maybe cheaper to put in a 408. They obviously have put the engine in many other vehicles and there is no reason to believe it can't be put in a Dakota. It's more a matter of wanting to be the first to do it because you won't be getting any help although there is some tech support from the people at www.hotrodlane.cc/
