Trying to select the best TB for my truck... which will be getting an M1 here shortly
1992 Dakota

DT Headers, 4350 lbs.

I will be going to a 360 next year... and I am looking to get the TB and M1 now.
The FB looks really prety, and the 55x52 sounds appealing but the price is really steep too.
The Fastmans isnt frilly at all, but from talking to him should flow just as good but has no flow numbers on his site... what do you all think???????
I dont care at all about how it looks, I want the performance...

Wow you are hitting all the boards with this question. oh wait, i guess i can't talk. ok just kidding.
From what i here the F&B out flows the fastman. A test was done where a 70mm F&B out flows a 71mm fastman in the 4.7. If you had the money i would definetly go with the F&B. The F&B is designed by dakota nuts like us for maximal air flow. There is only so much performance we can get from a ported stocker. Don't get me wrong though. I do have a fastman 68mm for my 4.7 and love it. Dan the fastman does offer great customer service, and good quality at a great price.

didnt i see this post on dakotausa.com? do I have a life? no! is that why im on all the dakota boards instead of banging beaver? perhaps! anyway... go with the f+b. like everyone else is telling you, it flows better than the fastman and its a billet piece. very appealing to the eye too. the fastman is a good tb and all that, but my vote is for the f+b. no, i do not work for f+b. but i do have one on my 5.2 and like it very much.
