OK, I have read the posts and am still left wondering... I have a 2003 Dakota with the 4.7. I am one of the lucky ones to have a rough idle especially when it is cold as well as always wanting better performance. I have installed Bosch +4 plugs, JBA Cat-back, and the K&N Intake kit.
Here we go: Who has installed new injectors in their truck? I would be talking about an engine comparable to mine in the "Modification" department. If you have installed them:
1. Did it help the rough idle any?
2. Did it improve performance any?
3. What injectors did you install?
I have read many things about the injectors on here, what size injectors does the 4.7?
I am not really ready to install new cams or a supercharger, just looking for a smooth running truck with a bit more "oomph".
Of course, any suggestion would be most helpful.
