Subject: Mods/ looking for opinions IP: Logged
Message: Ok I am looking to do alittle in the way of bolt on mods for my 99 dakota r/t. This is what I think I will order
1.)Taylor wires
2.)fastman TB
3.)intense performance intake 9in BM
4.)Mopar perf. computer
5.)Proglass rollpan
already have 180 t-stat and bosch plugs
Well does any have any suggestion on these mods or others?

Everything looks good (personal preference is K&N Gen-II) but run the standard Autolites. You mentioned Bosch...hopefully not platinums (they don't work very well - performance wise - in the Magnum engines).

Message: Definitely go with the autolite 3923's. After that the Flowmetrics or Holley 52mm throttle body will give you the most improvement. Cat-back exhaust after that. Wires will look good but you gain very little performance from them.
