you don't need one with a performance pcm. they do the same thing. changing the air fuel ratio. the pcm does it with a different fuel map. the chip does it by putting a resistor in on the intake ambient temperatue sensor relay and tells the computer it is colder and there for needs a different place on the previously mentioned fuel map. you'll be soo rich on fuel if you use them both (i think) but anyways they do the same thing. pcm does it better.
