I have a 2001 dakota 5.9 R/T C.C.. have done about every bolt on mod, & still running 15.42 e.t. @ 89.76mph. I just want to get into the 14 sec. range. What is the best supercharger for this truck? i've heard ati pro charger, cause this is the only 1 that comes with a intercooler. but also twin screw chargers like Kenny Bell are supposted to be top of the line. Living in AZ has hot air temp as it is. Charging on top of outside temp could mean over 190f intake air temp. So I would think an intercooler would almost be nessacary. If anyone has experience with supercharging R/T's please let me know how it went?

Check out dakotausa.com. There is a 99CC R/t that just put a Paxton on theirs. Still tuniing but getting some good numbers. Blown99ccRT is the one I think. Paxton seems to be the best one so far. Used to have a Powerdyne, but they scrapped it for more power. KB is good, but expensive compared to the others.

HEy bad R/T what do you have on your truck , that seems slow i could have sworn a stock cc would do a 15.2, you said did about every bolt , what are they, you should be in the 14's range with just a few mods like intake, tb, and exhaust

The Paxton is the best setup--- anytime heat is an issue, a innercooler will help.
Ever consider running nitrous?? NX kit 100 shot you should be in the mid to low 13s with your combo.

Go with a Vortech. They have the least amount of belt slippage and hold better boost number. Everyone i know that has had a powerdyne or paxton have changed to a vortech. Even though it doesnt come with a intercooler its still better. You can always put one on later. Visit www.KRCPerformance.com.
