Message:
I have an 02' dakota r/t and I'm trying to locate the crank sensor
so I can advance the timing a bit. There is suposed to be (2) 1/2
inch bolts holding it in or somethng. I cant find anything, except
for what looks like a sensor about 3 inches to the left of the
distributer. But no bolts to hold it in, it threads in ..
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Lee

facing the engine, look down right behind the left cylinder. it bolts to the block and goes into the tranny bellhousing.

You probably need to remove the passenger side
inner ( plastic ) fender to get at it or
maybe even to see it !
Check your email - I will send you
a adobe pdf file with pics.
