I am looking for a 180 thermostat for a 03 dak. 4.7. Down here in the south(LA) they do not list any for the 4.7 in 180 degrees. Does anyone know where to get a Robertshaw brand in 180 degree. Please let me know.

have you tried NAPA? you should be able to get one online. where in LA are you? i'm in laf.

from all that I have read, you use the same thermo from a 3.9L/5.2L/5.9L. you just have to cut a small notch, so the 4.7"s gasket can fit on the new T/S.
Go to www.paysonarizona.net then click on "my projects" GraphiteDak did the swap on his 4.7L, and has a whole slew of other mods listed on his page... check it out...
