The Stillen cover has been on the truck for about two years now, I'm too worried about what the stock bumper would look like underneath it after all this time to make a few bucks from selling it.

My transmission wasn't slipping or having any other similar problems when it went bad (my driveshaft fell apart due to dealership negligence, the resulting imbalance tore apart the overdrive unit) so I didn't have much of a reference for change when it comes to just cruising around, but I can definitely notice the 2400 stall torque converter and firmer shifts at WOT.
I also haven't driven the 01 very much this year, the tranny has less than 2k miles on it. A healthy chunk of that mileage came from a trip to California and back, my wife drove the 01 while I drove the 03.
Wayne at APS was very helpful and informative throughout the whole process, I highly recommend his products to anyone needing a new tranny or torque converter.
