Message: You can do just about anything you want and not void the warranty. I believe it is called the Magnason/Mann act. The warranty will cover everything but the part you put on unless it directly caused the damage.

Message: I think every part should be made for that particular application not to viod warranty. I pretty sure a custom home-made lift will void warranty.

Message: The Mann Act is a federal law that forbides you to take an under-age female across state lines for immoral purposes, and the TB spacer is a complete and total waste of money and is designed for suckers.HAaa heehehhehehehehehe.

Message: Red Dak, the spacers may not work on the 5.2 or 5.9 but the 4.7 is an entirely different story. I have one.

Yes, the spacers DO work on the 4.7L...but I wouldn't recommend it with the Flometrics 69mm TB's...heheheh....t-minus 2 weeks and counting.

Message: The poweraid spacer that I have has helix grooves in it to help spin the air a little and equalize the air flow going into the manifold. It definitely does something cause I can here it whistling the air when getting on it sometimes. Like I have said before, not a huge gain in HP but seems to make a nice little torque gain.

Message: Magnusson/Moss Act in a nut shell say this: THe manufacture of a product can not require you to use a certain brand of product in order to maintain your warranty unless that brand of product is supplied free of charge from the manufature. So Dodge can require certain fluids or parts specifications but they can not require you to use a certain brand. ie they can require you to use a transmission fluid that meets or exceedes ATF+4 spec's. but they can not tell you that you have to use mopar transmission fluid.

Message: May I throw in my two cents?1st you go in to a dealership and start throwing that congressional crap around they probably tell you to go some where else. 2) You can use after market goodys on your vehicle, but if they make any other component fail, you SOL. 3) as if yet I dont think there is a lift for 2000-2001 Dakotas, last time I checked they were all recalled do to Dodge going to rack and pinion steering

Message: my engine in my 1996 dodge dakota quit while driving down the road .so a warranty i had on it is no good because the insurance adjuster found a gray area- loophole to get out of the warranty. the warranty company adjuster said it had a faulty spark plug in
it thus causing the engine to have a busted piston
sloppy broken timing chain and ruined engine-un fixable.this really stinks.

Message: ouch, I think some things can easily be construed as warrentee voiding, ie: a 20# turbo setup can void a transmission's warrentee (the engine now puts out more power than the trans was designed for) where as others would be odviously okay, ie: blinker module stopped working.
