My friend has a 98 with the 318, he ran a 14.6 with mionimal mods, he swapped heads, cam, put on headers and a New computer modula from dodge, his truck is now slower. I told hiom he need to have a dyno tune and reprogam done. He doens't think you can reprogram the computers, personally I dont' know, I have an '02 Mustang GT and reprogramin the computers is done all the time.

Has he had his fuel injector Timing reset to 0+/-4 degrees yet. This sometimes is a problem with New CAM. It is set by the distributer. And if he has the New MOPAR PERFORMANCE PCM, it should be OK. If it is just a Stock PCM then send it Marty at KRC Performance and have the thing reprogrammed for the New CAM and heads. Good Luck.
