Subject: the hell with the srt10 IP: Logged
Message: I went to the dodge dealer today and saw some rich yuppie picking out his new srt-10, the guy was asking ridiculous questions: how many cylinders are in here? can this beat a mustang? I personally would rather take my dak with mods over the new srt10. The whole fun is building it and tweaking it yourself. Someday my dak will smoke those things. im jsut glad i walked out of there with my latest mopar performance catalog instead of sum truck i know nothing about and had no part in building!

Message: I'm still drooling over one. If I had enough Money I'd keep my Dak for a work truck and buy the SRT-10 for Play as you wouldn't catch me hauling lumber in an SRT-10.
There is a dealer here that already has one from a Repo.. God I love people who live beyond their means!

Message: somepeople just want to say they have the faster, better, more kinda posessions. I see it all the time with motorcycles. If the new Ninja is a 10th quicker in the ET then someone is already selling their year old "slow-ass" Gixxer... etc. Many don't even know what they are buying, or how to ride/drive it to its full potential or design. Blah. I shouldda been born rich.

Message: It takes all kiond to keep the sport going. Some are clueless, and they drive Honda Accords. Some like to whip out the credit account and buy a monster. Some like to modify an existing vehicle, and some start with a bare frame and build what they want.
I like having people around that want to (and can) buy finished vehicles. That way I have someone to sell my projects to when I get tired of them.
I also like folks like you described. That way I have a chance to buy an SRT10 used and cheap(er) that hasn't been abused (raced) when he trades it in for the next hot toy.
It's all good.

Thats exactly how I got my current R/T bought it a few months ago with only 45,000KM's from some old guy who hadn't even done a single mod to it.

Message: I know were there is an 99 RT black CC fairly bone stock other than the 3:55s he put in when he first bought it because the fuel bill was to harsh but still has the original gear set. It has 28000 KM or 16-17 thousand miles. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles in it but totally original tires battery bla bla bla totally mint.Last I heard he was asking around 16K Canadian for it.With those miles I think its a good deal!!Its to bad the wife isn't into his and hers R/Ts cause she would be driving it! Reply if you want the contact info.

Message: He said it wasn't that noticeable, but this guy is crawlin near 70years old so he probably doesn't piss around to much with it. I have only seen it 3-4 times and never driving around town just sitting in his garage when the door is open.
