Message: 16 mpg average over 3000 miles:
14.5-15.5 City
17.5-18.5 hwy
Averages out just perfect. Got the big stock 255/60-15 meats on it keeping the MPG lower IMHO. Might go with a narrower tire when it is time to change for less rolling resistance.
2000 4.7 CC auto 3.55LSD, tonneau.
Ditto what Stephen said above, this thing will sh!t and git when flogged, hard to keep the tires planted.

Message: I average 18+ mpg in 40/60 city/hwy with an all-time high of 20+ mpg on one tank. I have yet to do a long highway trip so I don't know what it's capable of on the open road.
2002 QC SLT 3.9 v6 auto, 3.55, home brew intake, IAT relocated, modified v8 TB swap, 3923's, 180 t-stat, underdrive crank pulley, clutch fan removed, MSD 8.5 mm wires, TPS tuned, lowered 1" in rear.

Message: Just got back from a 1000 mile road trip 100% on interstate and was getting 20 mpg on the dot. Get about 16 usually with 25/75 city/highway

Message: i do all my driving in the city and i average around 9.0 to 9.5 miles per gallon. thats with a stock 318, except for exhuast. also average about 170 to 180 miles a tank.i have to fill up once a week. now,is that a problem or what?????

12-15 mpg freeway (65mph)
;) Dont buy a 5.9L if you want good gas

Message: Did a 1k mile road trip. Averaged @ 14. Best its ever had. Other than that, I Get around 10 to 12. Just can't keep my foot out of it!
