Subject: Hughes Engines Intake Manifold IP: Logged
Message: I was at dakota-durango.com looking at their parts listings when i saw the Hughes Engines Beer Barrel intake manifold. on a current thread people talk about the M-1 getting better mid and high end power while a ported OEM beer barrel manifold did better with the low end. I saw this manifold and thought that it might have some promise, so does anyone here have any experience with the Hughes manifold, and what do you think of it?

i considered getting this but they want wayyyyyy too much
money for it and you have to send your old one back unless you
can afford to eat the core charge i believe it was some $700 total
all they do is some grinding to smooth the runners out and add
some epoxy to close up some of the volume near where the TB
mounts to increase the vacuum signal, you could do any of this
work yourself
